Recent developments in Health and Safety regulations have required all companies to review how people ‘work at a height’. They place duties on employers, the self-employed and any person that controls the work of others – for example, facilities managers or building owners who may contract others to work at height.
This is leading to the requirement for an AWP being available
Choose the right work equipment and give serious thought as to whether it will serve to actually prevent a fall, like on a work platform, rather than simply lessen the consequences like a net or an airbag.
